CONVERSATIONAL PRINT IN POINTCARRE
For my Computer Generated Imagery class this semester one of my projects was to create a conversational print based off the book A Gentleman in Moscow. I created the motifs using watercolor and edited them in photoshop to make them more symmetrical. I created a basic pattern in Adobe Illustrator and then moved that into Pointcarre where I was able to simplify down the number of colors used and create a true repeat. In Pointcarre I was also able to make multiple color ways and use their 3D mapping software to put my textile onto previous designs.
